The company was established by Dr. V d A Coetsee in 1994. The company has a rich history in dealing with hydrocarbon spills, mining and mining-related groundwater issues, industrial geological assessments, environmental due diligence, environmental impact assessments and environmental auditing. More recently, the company has diversified it’s offerings by looking at GIS and environmental database management system type projects.

Additionally, we have expanded our footprint internationally by being involved in groundwater contamination assessments in Europe, United Kingdom and Germany.

GPT adheres to a culture whereby staff empowerment is valued and encouraged. This is emphasised through various internal colloquiums that are conducted, attendance to local and internal conferences, workshops and training programmes.
