Our consultancy company requires the services of an Environmental Scientist with Key Account Manager (KAM) function to be stationed at our Pretoria office.

Essential skills would be:

  • Project management using GPT project management software
  • Writing and reviewing of reports
  • Assisting with execution of site assessment and remediation activities at sites
  • Groundwater assessments and monitoring
  • Environmental impact assessments data collection
  • Investigation and assessment of contamination levels and remediation measures at a variety of Chemical and Petrochemical sites
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to a client
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with the business unit manager to ensure growth attainment

Qualification and minimum requirements:

  • Honours Degree in Geology / Hydrogeology / Environmental Science
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in petroleum hydrocarbon contamination assessments
  • Experience in the writing of scientific reports is a prerequisite
  • Experience in environmental consulting
  • Experience in client interaction and dealing with clients directly
  • Preference will be given to a registered professional scientist (earth sciences)
